THE NW FLYERS CELEBRATES OUR 30th ANNIVERSARY IN 2017!!!
The NW Flyers Track Club wraps up Spring/Summer 2017 Track & Field sign-ups with a "last chance" registration and a mandatory orientation for parents and athletes on Mon April 24, 2017 at 7:00 PM.
Registration will be held at Hamilton Middle School (12330 Kluge Rd, Cypress, TX 77429). Practices are now underway at Cy-Ranch HS and Klein Forest HS. (If you are a middle / high school athlete you should attend this mandatory orientation - click "How to Register" menu on the left for more information.)
The NW Flyers annual parent orientation and kickoff breakfast on February 4, 2017 had almost 400 people (athletes, parents, and coaches) in attendence! The Northwest Flyers Track Club is a member program of USA Track and Field (USATF), the national governing body for track & field and cross country. The club is in its 30th year in the northwest Houston area. Ages 6 - 18 may participate in the team, and both beginners and experienced runners are welcome. The mandoratory orientation session will feature a special presentation by a member of the US Olympic Team who will share an inspiring message for sports, school, and life. Don't miss it!!!

The orientation program will cover the important information you need to join for this season. New and returning families should plan to attend this event. The program begins promptly at 7PM. As a courtesy to our guest speaker, presenters and participants we ask that you arrive promptly to get seated. Please do not come late. Again, the "orientation session" is mandatory.
Elementary School Athletes
Elementary school athletes should have attended the Feb 4, 2017 registration / orientation. All elementary athletes should be registered and participating in the weekly practices that began on February 13, 2017.
For All School Age Athletes
The Northwest Flyers Track Club is a member program of USA Track and Field (USATF), the national governing body for track and cross country. The club is in its 28th year in the northwest Houston area. We train and compete in the USATF Cross-Country (Fall), Indoor Track (Winter), and Outdoor Track & Field (Spring / Summer) seasons. Ages 6 - 18 may participate in the team, and both beginners and experienced runners are welcome.
Your registration can then be completed online at the end of the orientation session.

1) Click the link below complete our secure online registration and payment form.
2) Complete the form, sign and then gather all requested documentation.
3) If you missed the parent orientation meeting print the "NWF Program Summary", then the athlete and parent must sign each page to demonstrate they have reviewed the same information as the rest of the team.
4) Turn in all requested documentation to the team registrar at the end of the registration event or at practice.
Olympic Gold Medalist to Speak at Northwest Flyers Registration Breakfast on February 4, 2017

The Northwest Flyers Track Club will host its annual free information / registration breakfast on February 4, 2017 for all boys and girls and their parents interested in joining for the 2017 spring/summer track season. The breakfast starts at 8:00AM at the Cypress Creek Christian Community Center Forum located at 6823 Cypresswood Dr., Spring, TX, 77379. All athletes / parents must be seated by 8:30 AM in order to register.
The event will begin with a special presentation from an Olympic Gold Medalist.
At the breakfast, our guest speaker will provide athletes, coaches, and parents an inspiring message for sport and life.
The Northwest Flyers Track Club is a youth (age 6 -18) track organization, affiliated with USA Track & Field (USATF), that provides a full program of sanctioned “track” events such as sprints, hurdles, middle distance, distance, relays and sanctioned “field” events such as long jump, triple jump, high jump, pole vault, discus, shot put and javelin. The Northwest Flyers has approximately 275 members, boys and girls. The club was founded 23 years ago by Olympic gold medalist Fred Newhouse to foster the development of youth track & field in the Northwest Houston area.
The Northwest Flyers is a member of the “Win With Integrity Champion” program, a partnership between USATF and the American College of Sports Medicine. “Win With Integrity” brings elite track & field athletes and school-aged kids together to promote healthy lifestyles, keeping active, and living with integrity through the sport of track & field.
